Currently, Marianna Media is creating a Public Artwork for Sound Transit, which will be installed in the Theater District Light Rail Station in downtown Tacoma in the summer of 2003. We are collaborating with artist Fernanda D'Agostino to create a site-specific video installation, to be projected at night on the etched glass windscreens of the station. A timing device will be programmed to run the projected video at dusk. The video will deal with transportation themes taking into account train history as a device of bringing cultural diversity to communities.
